Positions Available:

We are currently seeking to fill the following positions within our healthcare facilities:

1. Clinical Technician (Pharmacy) (BPS-12) – Serving the Community through Pharmaceutical Care
2. Primary Health Care (PHC) Technician – MP (MT) (Medical Promotion – Medical Technician) (BPS-12) – Strengthening Primary Healthcare Delivery
3. Primary Health Care (PHC) Technician – MP (EPI) (Medical Promotion – Expanded Program on Immunization) (BPS-12) – Protecting Health through Immunization Initiatives
4. Primary Health Care (PHC) Technician – MCH (LHV) (Medical and Child Health – Lady Health Visitor) (BPS-12) – Dedicated to Maternal and Child Health

Total Number of Vacancies: 20 Positions across all categories.

• Clinical Technician (Pharmacy): 2 positions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile: Candidates must hold a domicile of South Waziristan Upper or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Preference will be given to local candidates from South Waziristan Upper. If suitable candidates are not found locally, those from adjacent districts within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may be considered

  Application Process:

Interested candidates should download and complete the application form available on the official website of the District Health Office South Waziristan. Academic Qualification:

1: For Clinical Technician (Pharmacy):

• A two-year diploma in a relevant paramedical technology approved by the medical faculty is required of candidates. Specifically, this diploma must be in a discipline related to pharmacy practice.
• Alternatively, those who have earned an FSC in Medical Technology from an accredited institution may also apply. Candidates with a solid technical basis in pharmaceutical sciences are guaranteed by this qualification program.

2: For PHC Technician MP (MT), PHC Technician MP (EPI), and PHC Technician MCH (LHV):

• A two-year diploma in Technology Health from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Faculty of Paramedical & Allied Health Services is required of candidates. Candidates are guaranteed to receive training in the particular competencies needed for primary healthcare technology positions within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa healthcare system thanks to this specialised credential.

Age Limit:

• positions require an age limit of 18 to 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per existing Government rules/ regulation.

• Age relaxation may be granted in accordance with existing Government rules and regulations, where applicable. Please refer to government policy for specific age relaxation criteria.

Terms and Conditions of Employment:

All appointments made under this advertisement will be subject to the following terms and conditions. Candidates are advised to carefully review these terms before applying:

1. ETEA Screening Test: The Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) will grant candidates temporary permission to take part in a screening test. This exam is a first stage in determining a candidate’s suitability. It’s crucial to remember that taking the ETEA exam alone does not ensure eligibility.
2. Application Scrutiny: Following the ETEA screening exam, the Appointing Authority will thoroughly examine each application. Every element of a candidate’s application will be evaluated in light of the eligibility requirements throughout this thorough evaluation. The Appointing Authority will disqualify any candidate without further action if they are determined to be ineligible at any point during the hiring process.
3. ETEA Profile and Verification of CNIC: It is mandatory for all applicants to register for an account on the official ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk). Candidates must print an E-Sahulat Token from the ETEA website after creating their profile, and this is essential before applying for any position or paying the application fee. Any authorised NADRA E-Sahulat Franchise (Kiosk) will then utilise this token to verify their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) number. Incomplete CNIC verification using the E-Sahulat Token will prevent applications from being processed. Processing an application requires this verification step.
4. Interview Call Letters: Only candidates who have been shortlisted based on their performance in the ETEA screening exam and subsequent application review will get interview call letters. An interview call is not a given just because you meet the minimum requirements.
5. Screening Basis-ETEA Test: The main factor used to choose applicants for interviews is how well they did on the ETEA screening test. It is advised that candidates study hard for this exam.
6. Late submissions: Applications that are late or that are incomplete (i.e., missing supporting documentation) will be disqualified. It is the applicants’ responsibility to ensure that their application is both timely and complete.
7. Age Relaxation:If related, a relaxation of the maximum age limit will be given strictly in obedience of current laws and rules. Candidates requesting an age relaxation must prove their requests with legal/real and true (paperwork that proves or supports something).
8. Government or Semi-Government Employees: If the candidates are currently employed with the Government or the Semi-Government organization, then they will be required to submit an application through the concerned channels. To be considered for the given positions, they will be required to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer.
9. Multiple Posts Require Different Applications: Applicants who want to apply for more than one position must submit a different application for each post and pay the required price per application. Applications for more than one post cannot be combined.
10. Preference for Local Domicile: As stated earlier, preference will be given to candidates holding domicile of District South Waziristan Upper. Only in the event of non-availability of suitable local candidates, will candidates from other Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa be considered, subject to fulfilling all codal formalities.
11. Authority’s Right to Cancel/Reject: Without providing a justification, the Competent Authority maintains the sole authority to cancel or reject any application. Additionally, if the applicable Service Rules or ATP (Appointment, Terms and Conditions) Rules change, the hiring procedure may be modified or terminated completely. In these situations, the committee will closely follow the current laws and regulations.
12. Correction of Inaccuracies/Omissions: The advertisement’s errors or omissions, including the quantity of advertised posts, may be corrected. The number of openings is tentative and subject to change based on position codes approved by the finance department.
13. Candidates are cautioned that failure to complete any of the written statements on the application form, or to provide any incorrect information or misrepresentations, may result in their instant expulsion from the entire hiring process at any point.
14. Information show-DHO Notice Board: The District Health Officer, South Waziristan Upper’s notice board will clearly show all pertinent information pertaining to the hiring process, such as shortlisting lists, interview schedules, and final results. It is recommended that candidates frequently check this notice board for updates.
15. Document Submission for Shortlisted Candidates: For careful review and verification, shortlisted candidates must promptly deliver attested copy of all supporting documentation to the DHO Office South Waziristan Upper.
16. Original Documents at Interview: At the time of the interview, shortlisted candidates are required to provide their original documents, certified photocopies of each document, and their CNIC. Disqualification will occur if original documentation are not presented.
17. Verification Fee: The concerned candidate is responsible for paying the verification fee for each of the chosen candidate’s documents. This cost covers the procedure of confirming the legitimacy of academic and other records.
18. Repercussions for False Documents: Applicants are strongly advised not to submit any documents or information that is false or misleading. The appointment order will be automatically rescinded and legal action may be taken if any false information or forged documents are found at any point.
19. Quota Reservations: Quota reservations will be done as per government policy. 10% quota will be reserved for women applicants. Applicants having disabilities are eligible for a 2% quota. Applicants from the minority community are eligible for a 0.5% quota. Applicants need to produce genuine supporting documents to claim quota benefits.
20. No TA/DA: In order to participate in the screening exam or interview, no Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be accepted. Candidates will be in charge of covering their own lodging and travel costs.
21. Foreign Degree Equivalence: If an applicant holds a foreign degree, they must present an equivalency certificate from Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) attesting to the degree’s equivalent status to Pakistani credentials. Applications for foreign degrees that do not include HEC equivalency certificates will be denied.
