An Assistant Director in a bank plays a significant leadership role, bridging the gap between senior management and operational teams. Bachelors or Masters Degree (16 years of education) in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or similar relevant field from reputable HEC recognized domestic or foreign university.
Relevant IT / Cyber Security / Cyber Defence Credentials like GIAC SOC, CEH, CHFI and other Blue Teaming Certifications would be preferred.

The Computer Security Assistant Director plays a critical leadership role in managing and improving an organization’s computer defense (success plans/ways of reaching goals). With a focus on Computer Operations & Response, the Assistant Director supervises the identification, prevention, and response to computer threats, securing/making sure of the protection of sensitive data and IT (basic equipment needed for a business or society to operate).
This position involves managing a team of computer security professionals, guiding them through threat detection, event response, and weakness (that could be used to hurt someone or something) management. The Assistant Director is responsible for creating and putting into use security rules of conduct and event response plans, coordinating with internal departments and external partners during security events, and securing/making sure of obedience of legal/law-based standards.
A key aspect of the role is continuous improvement–securing/making sure of that the organization’s computer defense (success plans/ways of reaching goals) change (and get better) in line with newly-visible threats and (related to computers and science) (times of moving ahead or up). The Assistant Director also works closely with senior leadership to develop long-term security attempts (to begin something new) and secures/makes sure of that the organization’s security (way of standing/attitude) remains strong and tough.
Candidates for this role usually have a strong background in computer security, leadership experience, and (clearly connected or related) certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. The ideal candidate should have the ability to think critically under pressure, communicate effectively, and have a passion for safeguarding digital valuable things against changing (and getting better) computer risks.
One of the main responsibilities is overseeing teams in different (related to managing money) departments. The helper director teaches workers, helps in project management, and makes securing/making sure of that team goals (thing that makes something else complete or perfect) the bank’s (something that hangs over, affects, and includes every part of something) aims.
